The first Forever Family Celebrity Charity Ride is set for Sunday, September 5th. Registration 10am, ride leaves at 11am from Thunder Mountain. A minimum donation of $25 includes lunch from Texas Roadhouse. The first 100 registrants will receive a T-Shirt also. A second rider is $10 and a shirt is only guaranteed for the first registration per bike for the first 100 (not to the rider) Ride is led by Mike Ballard and Angie of the Full Throttle Saloon and Angieland. The ride will go from TMDH to The Aspen Lodge in Estes Park for lunch served up by Texas Roadhouse. Cost is $15/hand or $20/two hands (on the same bike) and Angel Faces will be the benefactor. This is the one you’ve waited all summer for!!! Old Chicago at Harmony and Timberline will host the ater-party at the end of the ride. Thunder Mountain Wind & Fire is made up of local Firefighters who ride and want to help a GREAT charity. Friends and family are hosting a benefit poker run for Randy Guild and Brenda Smith from Loveland, Colorado. {ALL VEHICLES WELCOME} Randy and Brenda were in a serious motorcycle accident on the Peak to Peak highway while on a casual ride in July. The bike malfunctioned and they lost control hitting a guardrail and fell down the canyon 15-35 feet. Randy has severe spinal injuries that will require several months of rehabilitation and Brenda sustained severe body trauma that has required numerous operations and will require months of rehabilitation. Randy and Brenda have been members of the community for several years so it is fitting that local area businesses are involved. Registration starts on Saturday, September 11, at 10:00 a.m. at the Derby Grille in Berthoud. Other stops include the Windjammer Roadhouse by Carter Lake; Miller's Bar & Grill, Loveland; Hooters at Thunder Mountain, Loveland/Ft. Collins ending back at the Derby Grill. There will be a raffle, silent action, and a money prize for the best and worst hand.
